Construction of an Edgetech AHU

1. Casing:

Casing that comes in double skin pre coated outer skin as well as inner skin. The skins are made of galvanized steel sheet.
Unique design ‘thermal brake profile’ and panel to meet the international standard for leakage class L1.
Aluminium profile that is Corrosion resistant and comes with special designed coving.
Rigid framework design that is inherent to the casing stability as well as strength.
A wide range of casing construction materials to select from SS-304/316, Aluminum, Galvanized steel 120/270 GSM, Galvalume and many more.
PUF injected double skin panels that are environment friendly and also CFC/HFC free.
Damper made from Aluminum aerofoil in order to ensure the minimal leakage percentage.
Uniquely designed drain pan that comes in multi slope in order to maintain hygienic conditions.

3. Filters

Controls dust, airborne particles, and micro-organism through an air filtration system. The air filtration system uses highly efficient and low pressure drop particulate air filters.
Filters can be easily removed without any tools for cleaning purposes.

4. Connectivity (Optional Feature)

Optimum efficiency and major energy savings are made possible with features like inbuilt electrical control panels. These panels are equipped with intelligent sensors and controls for automation.
Option of manual operation as a standard feature, however, BMS ready connectivity is also possible.

Air Washer & Evaporative Cooling Unit

The double stage evaporative cooling process works as a combination of a humidifier and a air purifier. The Indirect Evaporative Cooling at stage one builds on the strength of cooling by using water evaporation without increasing humidity in the supply air. This helps in removing sensible heat from the primary supply air stream thus providing 70-75% indirect saturation efficiency. The Direct Evaporative Cooling at stage twp productes near adiabatic cooling thus resulting in a total two stage saturation efficiency of 110-115% for the most comfortable, healthy cooling.

Features

  1. Double stage cooling allows the use of energy saving evaporative cooling technology for design conditions where direct evaporative cooling is inadequate.
  2. The energy consumption is around half than that of air conditioning, while the capital cost is also significantly lower.
  3. The conditioned space is cooled by 100% fresh air, hence there are no IAQ related problems.
  4. Since no refrigerant is used, the system is environmentally friendly.

Raised Floor Air Handling Unit

Raised floor Unitary Air handling product is specifically designed to meet the unique requirements of under floor/Raised floor air systems. This special AHU is designed to deliver air into a raised floor plenum while using up to two different air streams: primary pre-treated air, and a mixture of bypass space return air and return air chilled using either chilled water or DX coils.

This Next Gen AHU is equipped with many unique features that make our equipment durable, easy to operate and maintain. Some of these features are:

  1. The product is designed to consume low fan energy, has very quiet operation, and has a very compact space footprint.
  2. Under Floor unit is manufactured in two modules for fan and coil sections. Each of these can rotate in any of the four directions with respect to each other, so that coil headers, filter access and supply air outlets can be selected for any direction to overcome internal constraints of the room.
  3. The unit casing is fabricated out of specially designed engineered thermo-acoustic lined double skin 46 mm thick panels, resulting in lower noise levels and optimal thermal properties
  4. The complete fan and motor assembly is mounted on suspended spring isolators and complete assembly can be easily slid out of the unit for maintenance.
  5. Similarly, the coil is mounded on roller balls with quick lock header couplings and is easy to slide out from the front sided for maintenance.

  7. Thermo-acoustic lined double skin 50 mm thick panels, resulting in lower noise levels and optimal thermal properties is available on demand.

HEAT EXCHANGER is one of the modules in the air handling unit, the main function is to recover energy. It is designed to transfer thermal energy (sensible or total) from one air stream to another. Heat transfer surfaces are in form of plates, tubes or wheel. It is positioned within the supply and exhaust air streams of an air handling system.
